I’m a 40-something business woman who happens to live on a farm (Hummingbird Farms) with 5 dogs, 7 cats, 5 horses, and registered longhorns. Oh yeah – and a husband! Anyway, the real me is a small-town girl from west Texas, but I somehow ended up leaving that small town and becoming a career woman, spending 20 years living in the city doing big city stuff. We're now back in a small Texas town where we bought a farm (life really does come full circle) and planted several acres of lavender. Inspired by our own fields of lavender, we developed and launched a natural body care line. During the week I’m still that career woman commuting into town in my high heels and business suit; but this blog is the real me, the small-town girl I really am, telling you my stories of life on a Texas farm while my husband and I live our dream and build our bath & body business.
